Why speak with me?
When I meet new people and tell them I'm a life coach, I get many of the same questions. What's a life coach? Who works with coaches? What's the value in speaking with a coach? What do coaches do?
And I get it. Before I worked with my first coach I had the same questions. I had no idea.
The thing is, I know there are more people in this world that I can support than I have hours in the day to support them with. And sometimes it's a challenge for us to find each other. I just need to connect with the people I can help, and they don't always know I'm here.
I want to make it as easy as possible for people who need me to find me. So I asked a person who spoke with me recently to answer a few questions; I hope these answers will help you connect me to people I can really help.
Q: Why did you decide to contact me? (What problem did you have?)
A: I contacted you because I was feeling blocked in my current situation. Unable to see alternatives, which makes me doubt the decisions I have made so far.
Q: What did you get out of our meeting? (What solution did I provide?)
A: After our meeting I feel I can see things more clearly, like we cleaned up some of the clutter that was clogging up my brain.
Q: What was valuable about speaking with me?
A: For me our conversations are valuable because you always remind to look deeper or from different angles, lots of times I get tunnel vision and can't break that. You always help me in a completely unbiased and non judgmental way to see things differently. In that I remember to trust myself and value that my needs and wants are valid.
Q: What stopped you from hiring a life coach?
A: Nothing is really stopping me from hiring a coach, but until I met you I didn't really know anything about life coaches.
Give it a try!
If you have any doubts about speaking with me, remember this: the first coaching session is free, and it is completely confidential. Give me a try -- you've got nothing to lose!
